A storm came and throw me around
it broke my heart with is howling sounds
shattered to pieces, all over the floor
while i crawled around you opened the door
you stood with a smile, i sat with a frown
you gave me a hand up off the cold, wet ground
as the wind began to die down
you became my inspiration, my rae of sunshine,
my reason to look all over the ground
for the pieces i missed that were laying around
because what kind of person would i be
if i gave u something not at ease,
something not well put together
or even fully repaired
so im look for it all, every little piece
and im sure with enough tape and glue
it will be whole once more
so just wait a bit, just a little bit longer
as i glue the pieces and ponder
ponder about what to do next,
maybe a project with you would be best
