Past.
On Friday, being a part of the Cologne Commons line-up, I played at Gebäude 9, which is my favourite concert location here in Cologne. It was a great honor and a very special night for me... the biggest room, the best sound, the largest audience I've ever had and one of those rare moments where I could really get lost in what I was doing.

On Saturday, after having spent the day at the CC-conferences, enjoying the company of Christian and Judith of aaahh recs, I rode home on my bike but then stopped at the railway station for a while, attracted by some strange voices. For about ten minutes I would stand perfectly still, my mobile recording device pointed at the undergrowth where a group of toads performed a symphony. I wonder what they sang about?

Anyways, my compliments and huge thank you to the Cologne Commons people. Even apart from the gig, it was an interesting experience and I'm already looking forward to next year.

Present.
I feel rather idle but very motivated. In the right mood for drawing and printing and sewing and playing and recording. It's hard to choose what to do first though.
For tonight, some drawing should do.

Future.
When will the weather change so I can continue my outdoor recording project? Which guitar should I take with me on my next trip to Berlin at the end of June? Will the rest of this year go by as fast as the last couple of months? If so, will I be able to do as much as I'd like to?
Lots of plans and lots of questions and lots of hopes and fears, but I guess that's what keeps life interesting.
