I wanted to send this out to say Thank you! I recently found out I will be receiving an award. The Voices against the Silence Award is given out annual by the Greater Cleveland Aids Task force to individuals who they feel have helped speak up and raise awareness about HIV and Aids. I am truly humbled to be one of this years 8 recipients of the award. There is a luncheon being held
this Friday Dec. 7th, 2007 at Noon at the Greater Cleveland Aids Taskforce office for the award recipients. Tickets are $25. If you would like to come I have pasted the information at the bottom of this email
I am not sure how or who nominated me, and I am still in shock I am one of the recipients this year, I do what I do because I love it, it weird to receive an award for something I love and there are so many people who without their help the Ohio Hip Hop Aids Concert would not have been possible. I want to single out just a few in this email.

Sincere is the CEO of Added Bonus ENT.. An unconditional lover of Hip-Hop, Sincere has used her artistic talents and professional clout to draw other local Hip-Hop artists to the cause. Over the course of the last year, Sincere organized a roster of area Hip-Hop artists to come together to create positive messages about racism, community involvement, empowerment—but primarily, a message about how the Hip-Hop community can unite against HIV/AIDS. Sincere organized a benefit concert which included these artists, as well as an important Cleveland first: for the first time in this region, the Hip-Hop community came together to fight AIDS. Beyond this, Sincere organized a recording session with these artists to produce a single that was later distributed back into the community as an awareness and fund-raising tool. She never took a dime for her work. For her, it was about the art, and what art could do to change minds and beliefs.
