This is taken from the December 27th issue of the Onion. Here's what the A.V. Club had to say...
Fergus Falls-turned-Minneapolis rock combo Radio On got a chance to hone its craft and build an audience with a longstanding weekly gig at the 400 Bar last year, an arrangement similar to the one that first brought Mason Jennings to the public eye when he was starting out. Instead of Jennings' earnest folk, though, Radio On is more reminiscent of Mark Mallman, specializing in hook-laden pop that combines the energy of a garage band with a glossy theatricallity that seems to have taken a page from T. Rex. The band's second album, The Lovespread, slipped past The A.V. Club radar when it came out in November or would have certainly made at least an honorable mention on our local best-of-'07 list.
