Sanjaya Malakar is soo not in the same league as any of the others that were in the top 10.  In the auditions he did better than he ever did on stage.  He is not a horrible singer but he definitely should not have stayed in the competition for that long.  American Idol is about finding the next star singer not the craziest person who does anything just to get attention and not sing well.  This is a singing competition after all.  I am glad that he was finally booted off, b/c when he stayed on all those weeks, it took away the chances of the others in the top 12(who could sing muuuuuchhh better) to have a chance to continue on, but instead everyone kept voting for him for whatever reason and it became a joke of a competition.
