I had a personal struggle deciding if I should see the movie Stoploss.  I didn’t know how I felt about a movie that was about a war that is still going on.  But I decided that it might be educational to people that didn’t know what its like.  Little did I know how realistic it was and how close it hit to home.  Those of you that know me well are aware of what I have gone through the last 4 years regarding the war.  If you are curious what my life was like, go see the movie.  This movie brought back emotions I had hid deep away to hopefully never find again.  It was painfully real to me.   More importantly it is an issue that is real to thousands of people.  What are we doing to our young minds?  They will never be at rest, never be able to forget, and never come back the same.  Too many families and loved ones will welcome home a soldier but soon realize that they don’t even recognize the person that came back.  If you can handle it… see the movie.  Its very realistic, believe me.
