Current mood:  bouncy
Hello to all who are alive and well. I do hope that everyone that is reading this is having a wonderful day. I know I am. Well, sorta. I want to express my thoughts on what's happening with ZAMPD. It's been almost 6 months since ZAMPD was shot. It almost seems longer than that. We are in the Post Apocalyptic Editing Process as I like to call it and still have a long way to go. We have not finished the entire movie yet. Now, when I mean not finished, I mean not finished shooting. We are at about 80 percent done with shooting.

We just need a few more key scenes specifically, the ending to the movie. How important is that?! LOL. These are just scenes that involve the EXTERIOR of the highschool. It's 6 months later and we haven't found one still. Albeit, we are on a really tight budget but still. C"mon. As Dr. Evil would say, "Throw Me A Friggin' Bone Here". The actors are getting very antsy. One is thinking about cutting his hair, Another has colored her hair while others are not getting any younger. Of course, that can be solved with make-up and Duct Tape. Wait, did I say Duct tape?

We have come close with a few locations but it's the Permits, fat cops eating food and Fire Marshalls whom we don't even need because there is no fire involved...except for the cat burning scene. Just kiidding. I would never burn a cat. Maybe if it were dead but that's beside the point. My point is it's ridiculous to have all this when it's going to be a 1 night shoot. Sure a lot can happen but I'm willing to risk a few injuries and some deaths all for the movie. Of course we put the camera on these accidents so we can boost Production value. Again, kidding.

We're getting close to the end of the year and I want to finish shooting this. Thank God for Blogs so I can vent. Whew. Honestly though, I feel we're getting close. We are down to two locations and I think we'll get one of them. So, say a prayer before you go to bed and tell God that ZAMPD needs to get finished. Thank you all and until then...I bid you all a farewell from six feet under.

Damn all that legality. Oh i DO say a prayer every night to multiple deities to ensure the prosperity of ZAMPD. I just really am DYING (wink-wink) for a Director's Commentary copy! As we all know, in Hollywood the motto is "hurry up and wait". So, patient we shall be. I also think we need an imdb page to get the proverbial BUZZ going!

Well, things might have taken longer to get done than originally anticipated, but I'm sure it'll happen sooner or later. I'm looking forward to the final product, and seeing more of myself than in the awesome trailer (getting hit in the balls).

Keep with it everyone; you'll find that school. Try Crespi Carmelite High School in Encino. It's a small, private High School that might work for your final scenes (though I really don't know if its exterior is what you need). Take care.

I don't know if you still need this, but there's an old mental hospital in Norwalk, that we shot scenes for "Day of the Dead: Contagium" in. It could pass for a school. Check into it. I don't know any more details, but it should be kindof easy to find? Good luck!!
