"I personally would like to bring a tortoise onto the stage, turn it into a racehorse, then into a hat, a song, a dragoon, and a fountain of water. One can dare anything in the theatre, and it is the place where one dares the least….The imagination is not arbitrary, it is revealing… I have decided to not recognize any laws except those of my own imagination…." Eugene Ionesco

Like many previous artists of the genre, our attraction to the absurd, the surreal and nonsense poetry has come about as a kind of coping mechanism. Creative minds don't always function well with convention, monotony and the mundane- casual jobs, most of what's on television, tabloid journalism, long running shows- but we have found that there is a wealth of humour to be mined from such places.

The 'wonderful world of anxiety' has also provided fertile ground for our comedy- many a sleepless night has ended up drained from the brain and condensed into an SMS, the medium by which the vast majority of the show has been composed.

There seems to be a satisfaction for both us as performers and, hopefully, you as the audience in wandering through a theatrical dreamscape in which you can laugh and groan at scenarios that seem all too vivid and frightening in our actual dreams.

We give you A Porthole into the Minds of the Vanquished!
