I'll be opening for Little Miss Sabotage and the Cornflowers tomorrow at Bottega Art and Wine at 208 N. Front St. (www.myspace.com/bottegagallery).  I'll be doing a short-ish set from 9-9:30, and will be playing mostly newer stuff -- there will be 1-2 songs that are completely new.  Fresh out of the box new, never been heard.

After I warm things up, Little Miss Sabotage and the Cornflowers (www.myspace.com/thecornflowers) will play their new concept album from beginning to end.  The Star News calls the acoustic duo "folky and adorable", and indeed they are.  They are also quite talented, and good friends of mine. In fact, we'll be playing another show together next Saturday at the Juggling Gypsy (Sat. May 16, show starts at 9pm!)

Bottega is a cozy little wine and beer bar that showcases cutting edge art and original music.  They're huge supporters of local art and music, so be sure to continue to show them your support in return.

In band news, Billy's hooked me up with a satellite studio of sorts, that I just set up yesterday.  I made sure that everything was Feng Shui, so some good things should be coming out of that corner of my living room in the coming days!  Look for new stuff from the band, as well as new solo recordings. Why work on one album while I can work on two?  Music is just pouring out of me these days. 

I'm playing open mic pretty much every Monday at 16 Taps starting around 9pm.  The Cornflowers also come, as do numerous other talented locals (Brandon O'Dell, Soultron, Jim Ashley, Brian Galecki, and countless others -- look them up in my friends).  The cool thing is, if you can't make it out, 16 Taps does a live feed.  You can check it out here for any of the shows: http://www.venuevids.com/16taps/.
