California Adventure Closed at 6pm
Main Center of park pond drained for putting in 16,000 fountains!! Coming soon, Also the 12 acres needed for RadiatorSprings behind polite excuse our mess signs Can’t wait as the D23 Expo showed me hella sneak peaks off it and I cant hold my beamin’s lol, and added just recently since I was just at Cali Adv. In Spring were new boarded up walls 180 from the farris wheel and empty pond…The Little Mermaid Ariel’s Adventures Coming 2011!!! Sweet from what I saw and heard during this Expo 2011 is HUGE for Disney!!! Had to go on Tower of Terror, hit up California Screaming, avoided woody’s round both days hella long line like in spring(but look for similar 3D game for the Wii lol), went to my favorite building in Cali Adv. The Animation Off The Page etc. ,

Really enjoyed meeting the other Guests while waiting in all the different lines, great time to shut up and listen, lol it worked found out so much Disney 411

Seeing The Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D was like seeing for the first time, again. Also they presented us with Frankenwinnie and Vincent, which I noticed a “9” hmmm it was in the waiting of this line that I found out I missed Miley Cyrus, and Jack Sparrow. Everyone was stoked about Johnny Depp staying in character as Jack Sparrow, where as I’m kicking myself for missing Miley and trying to find out about her performance, some day I’ll get to see and hear her sing in person, who knows mayb e I do get on set and one day she’s practicing for the show and bingo free non concert moment

With all the TOY STORY 3 and PiXar stuff thoughts of “M” were HUGE as she took me to see Toy Story REALLY felt like I was back in Redmond with her sitting right next to me all cuddled up Hope she goes to see these rereleased 3D versions, that for a moment she remembers a happy thought of us and for that same moment forgets all the bad memories and cracks a warm smile…

The Princess and the Frog looks AWESOME made me feel “Comfortable” like The Little Mermaid, Beauty and The Beast, Aladdin, and the Lion King. Got to see 1/3rd of the film and I LOVE it! Also got to sit in on a panel that ran way late and then took hella time to get our phones and cameras but I got a set of Tarot Cards as this movie is set in Walt Disney’s favorite City New Orleans, with Voodoo guy like in 007 7Up guy Live and Let Die, who interacts with his shadow

Just Missed WALL E but saw and meet and interacted with this Dinosaur and reacted to my BO lol it was in the D23 Expo section that was like a mini worlds fair of the future of Disney Parks way kool saw Radiator Springs models and fully animated similar to projection face Buzz Lightyear that grets you before boarding blaster ride, but this was Lightning McQueen Ca c how!! And Luigi and Pip 1:1 scales

Ooh ooh forgot I saw from afar but still close the girl that is Jonas bros biggest fan, she was soo very beautiful WOW…also saw Miley’s tv Brother whom by the way is eight days older than me, totally should be able to work one episode of each Dis ch show,(Miley, WOWP, Jonas, Suite Life on Deck also the blonde dude from sonny with a chance and black guy from same show, as well Blonde guy from Minute Men and Corey in the house hatching pete,

2 0 1 1 seems to be HUGE for Disney

On a sad note the head of the Disney Parks announced the closure of Star Tours October 2010…all of a sudden the blue back lit auditorium all of a sudden became red and a well to familiar march played echoing the room as Storm Troopers filed out lining the front of the stage just under the screen and Darth Vader appeared on the screen telling the head of Disney Parks That this was unacceptable and that the Emperor would not be pleased, the head of The Disney Parks said that it was closing only to reopen for this, please put your 3D glasses on and well you had to be there…when it was over the guy announce Star Tours will be reopening in 2014…Darth wasn’t down with this decision so in his unique persuasive way made the Head guy announce it WILL be opening no later than June 2011!!!! BEAMIN’s so much I couldn’t even catch my breath long enough to tell pops what had just happened (note I blogged in 2005 about why doesn’t Lucas n Disney do a revamp of Star Tours for the 20th anniversary in 2006, glad someone with the power was listening thank you)

Must tell you about the seven beautiful girls that insisted I ride with them on Indiana Jones due to the fact I was a single rider and they all just went to pieces when I explained why my hat says Montreal and has Ariel The Little Mermaid on it is cause I crush on a girl in Montreal and her name is Ariel and I collect Little Mermaid things of Ariel afterwards their almost in unison AWE that’s sweet and then I guess I turned beat red with blush cause they all went look he’s blushing and through disscusion in line Almost Famous came up and they asked if they could all get a picture with me, beamin off this I kinda just wandered a bit towards the Haunted Mansion

At first I was scared to do this D23 Expo when I found out my best friend also Disney nut, wasn’t able to go. And its not so much the alone part of it but the unable to share it with someone. But I had an experience like as if I had never been to either park nor a convention, it was like I just put a brand new pair of contacts in for some reason things on Main St. tha I had seen many a times before over the last three decades I wasn’t torn by tryin to please everyone in my group while still trying to get done what I wanted to do. Observed a many a games played by guests while waiting in line like Ninja and Sticks still need to get them explained, also observed couples and families just being themselves.

The only bummer for time that Expo was also was repair time for the parks so many rides I wanted to enjoy hopping back n forth from rides to expo, note there was a Expo Tram running only for the 4days of the D23Expo But Disney needs to plan ahead to not have rides closed Like I understand The face lift for Jack on haunted mansion but you also are announcing 40th anniversary of the haunted mansion

Problems with acquiring D23Members only vouchers workers handing them out were asking for your D23 Member Card well mine was enroot to my house but Disney online assured me my printed out receipt would get me my D23 4-day wrist band like they do for beer gardens and it says D23 Member ight on it, after waiting in line for this I was a lil pissed but kept my faith in Disney Guest Services, which I meet Sherry, very polite and professional, walked me right over to the two workers denying me my Exclusives, …

This happened day two again same dude girl not there this day,

Did do the Disney Photo Pass worked at both Parks and the Expo great for when you are by yourself, also going to make sure I set this up for Ariel’s WDW adventure and will be great for holidays with family

To be continued I have more to say positively and negatively but can be improved upon things about D23 Expo but I also have hella work J
