DANGEROUS PLACE
Written by Glenn Hall
Someone once told me that faith is like a muscle; it becomes weak when you neglect it. The times when I've experienced God most profoundly have been when He's led me way out my comfort zone and into a challenge so huge that success can only come from a miracle. Strong faith comes from walking with God in some dangerous places.
LYRICS
When did the fire in my eyes turn to rain
When did the diamond in my soul turn to coal
Why did I jump off the tracks beneath my train
So many questions make a young man feel old
I can't ignore this calling anymore
I follow you wherever you may go
I want to live in a dangerous place
Where nothing is safe
And only miracles can keep me alive
I want to live in a dangerous place
On the edge of my faith
Where only Jesus can help me survive
I'm going down to where the water's much too high
I'm going up to where the air is much too thin
I'm going places known to make the grown man cry
If you are with me, I'll go out on that limb
I can't ignore this calling anymore
I follow you wherever you may go
I want to live in a dangerous place
Where nothing is safe
And only miracles can keep me alive
I want to live in a dangerous place
On the edge of my faith
Where only Jesus can help me survive
No land in sight
Just wind and waves
This boat is all that's safe
But you're out there
Ghost on the water
In such a dangerous place
I want to live in a dangerous place
Where nothing is safe
And only miracles can keep me alive
I want to live in a dangerous place
On the edge of my faith
Where only Jesus can help me survive
