HARVEY PUTTER Trailer Premieres on MuggleNet.com This Friday, Nov. 21

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

"Harry Potter And The Simultaneous Spoof Trailer": Two Exclusive Previews

SOUTH BEND, IN November 19, 2008 – This week Warner Bros. released a new trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince exclusively on several prominent fan websites. This Friday, November 21 fans can also catch their first glimpse of the feature-length spoof Harvey Putter and the Ridiculous Premise by Richardson Productions exclusively on MuggleNet.com, the world's most popular Harry Potter website.

Die-hard fans remember this as the day Half-blood Prince was due for release until Warner Bros. pushed it back to May 2009; and their new trailer appears to be a way to help placate the fan base. "We planned on doing something cool on this date long before we found out about the Warner Bros. trailer," says director Tim Richardson. "Apparently this is a very hot week to try to make the fans happy!" The film Twilight is released the same day, which is highly anticipated by some in the Potter fandom.

Many Muggles have leapt on board to be a part of Harvey Putter's warped world: from wizard rock bands to authors to fellow filmmakers…and even some real stars. London actor Kiran Shah of Chronicles of Narnia and the Lord of the Rings trilogy stars as four-foot-tall Dumpy the Houseschmuck. Fan celebrity Emerson Spartz, founder of MuggleNet and best-selling author, spoofs himself in a cameo. "I play a mega-dork named Everson Sputz," he laughs.

In the three-minute trailer fans will get to see many of their favorite characters—well, sort of. Professor Snake the lotions master, Hagard the half-wit, Headmaster Mumblemore, Rod Cheesely, and Hernia Grunger join punky teen rebel Harvey as they attempt to escape K.J. Bowling's fantasy book world before the final chapter closes.

In spite of spending three days in blue make-up and dressed like a homeless Smurf, Shah still smiles: "It is my pleasure to be part of Harvey Putter's family."

The completed movie will be released in 2010 coinciding with the last two films of the Harry Potter series, and the theme park opening in Orlando, Florida.
