Hello my fellow groove minstrels!
Back in January, myself, Matt Taylor, Roy Martin, Jonny Dyke, Derrick McIntyre, Chris White, Hutch Demoulpied, Tracy Graham, Anna Macdonald and Wes Maebe locked ourselves away in the studio for 10 days straight. Surfacing only for emergencies and the odd fag, the 12 tracks that are to make up my debut album were learnt, played and recorded! I can't thank the guys named above enough for their skill, patience and general grooviness under pretty extreme pressure. You shall be generously rewarded(by somebody I'm sure...)!
Since then I've had the small matter of a cricket season to prepare for and play in so further progress has been fairly slow. However, myself and Mr Mucka no.1 Matt Taylor, have been slowly piecing together the fruits of our labour and the results are starting to sound pretty damned good-if I say so myself! Check them out on the site if you haven't already. Everything is still in rough form at the mo and I'm hoping to cadge some time down at the Bonhams' to get all the vocals done some time later in the summer. In the meantime both Deborah Bonham and Matt Taylor have new albums out, Matt's has just been released and Debs' is out in June-buy them!
