The easiest part was falling in love, now the hardest part has yet to come when I have to let go. I don't want to be the one to hear your voice every here and then after you leave. I want to be soothed and eased by your warmth every night knowing your safe in my arms. I know we have always said no matter what we will always be together, but this is not how I imagined it, how will we see time go by next to one another with your departure. Ever since you enlisted my days become black, shorter, our time is being controlled by those whom we call Marines. And in due time we will be able to count our days left with our fingers then there will be nothing left to count. It scares me that, that day will soon come as well as it did for many others as it did my brother. What path you choose after your departure lays in your hand for I will not hold you accountable for your actions for I will always love you. And as a friend and a girlfriend I told you I would always be here for you and here is where I will wait for you after your commission. When you do come back we will start everything fresh with a new life, strong, in love, and like magic. I'll never let you go because you know you are mine and it feels so damn good to let the whole world know that I love you.
