Hey Folks,
The
Pete The Pirate Squid / Radio Burroughs tour is over, thanks so much to
everybody setting up and coming to the shows! Unfortunately, the Pete
The Pirate Squid / Grave, Shovel... Let's Go! split 12" was not ready
in time - we made 80 tapes though, there is a bunch left, get your copy
from the bands directly! The vinyl version should finally be ready in a
few weeks - phew!
Up next is a split tape with our new favourite
bands Halothan and Ex Best Friends from Berlin. Halothan kinda continue
where Deleometer left off, less metal and more rock here though, heh.
Think Orchid-ish jams crossed with Transistor Transistor-ish jams. Ex
Best Friends are Jana PTPS, Anette Stoerenfrieda and Antje Phranc doing
superb noisy postpunk comparable to Unwound, Flamingo Massacres and
Craving. Both bands will be on tour together in late August, don't miss
out!
Later, around September / October we'll take part in the release of a new 7" record by riotgrrl-..dancepunks Zosch! together with Kids In Misery and Spastic Fantastic Records. Yay!
