It seems to me, that the times we need help and guidance the most, are the times when we tend to push people farther away then ever. They're the times when anger and pain cloud our judgement till we can see no more. And all we had to do all along was ask for a little advice and it all could have been avoided.
Christmas time. Tis the season when problems are put aside and family comes together. The problems, however, aren't really put aside; merely shoved beneath the surface and covered with smiles and greetings. They are saved for another time, a more opportune time, one that doesn't conflict with roast ham and presents. And so meals are shared and words whispered, rather than said aloud. But inevitably eventually the problems are spat out like darts because hot air rises.
I know this all seems random, but there is a point. Live today like it's your last. If you're going to put aside your problems, really put them aside. If not, then don't bother pretending because it's just going to hurt someone. I have a temper and I know it. I'm rash and impatient and I hurt people because of it. If you are one of these people, I'm sorry.
Tis the season to laugh. Tis the season to love. Tis the season to live.
Happy Holidays Everyone.
