These next couple of months will be filled with lots of activity. 

We are going to be mixing our first album for Skipping Stones Records  . The goal is to be done by January.

So soon, very soon, our first album will be born...

We hope to start playing some shows again not long after, and to meet you all in person.  Thank you for all the encouragement you have showered our way.

Lili de la Mora and Rodney Sellars make up the duo The Year Zero from Long Beach, CA. I find myself again and again returning to their Myspace page to listen to their songs. Lili's gentle vocals weave together with Rodney's layerings of guitars and keyboards to create futuristic dream pop, reminiscent of early shoegaze. They make me feel the same way Slowdive and Lush do, which in my opinion is very recommendable. This coupled with science fictional artwork does the trick for me, and I look forward to their first release on Skipping Stones Records early next year.
