Fellow workers,
There is an urgent need for help tomorrow evening (Friday the 23rd)
from everyone who is available then and can get to the north-Seattle
meetup spot (see below) at 7pm.

these tenants are still sticking together and the landlords have not
been able to force them out. They're now preparing to fight, together
with us (the Solidarity Network), for compensation money from the
slumlords, so they can all move into decent apartments. This won't be
easy, but they're determined and we're going to give all the help we
can.
So tomorrow (Friday the 23rd) at 7pm sharp, please gather with us by
the southeast corner of N 90th St and Nesbit Ave, which is one block
east of Aurora. Map:

together with Green Lake Apartments tenants, over to the slumlords'
home in Shoreline, and stand with them while they deliver their
demand. If the owners are away hiding somewhere or won't answer the
door, we'll stick the letter to the door and follow it up with faxes
and registered mail, including a photo of the crowd at their door.
This will be a brief action; nothing dangerous or illegal. Still, the
presence of as many people as possible will make a big difference,
both to uplift and encourage the tenants and to make the slumlords
think twice about ignoring their demands or retaliating. We expect
some news media to be there too, which might help.
