I'm going to be in the movies. Yep, that's right. Now hold on. It's not a starring role. I was commissioned by Channel 4 British Public Television (the UK version of PBS) to write and perform a song for a documentary called "Revelation" or "Revelations" - they're not sure yet.
It supposed to air in spring 2006 in the UK. I wrote a song and performed it live at Times Square in Manhattan. What's my position on Revelations? Are these really the end times?
"Some say the end is near. Signs are everywhere. But, Brother, tell me if it's true, Whatcha gonna do? Will you send your neighbors sons to war or find a way to help the poor? So many Souls in time of need. So many hungry mouths to feed. Or will you feed the fear of doom. Hey, Man, it's up to you. Brother, tell me if it's true, Whatcha Gonna Do?" (yes, I used the masculine voice in this song just as is done in the book of Revelations.)
