Last night was our first music rehearsal. It sounds like we have a great group of actors/singers especially for the group numbers. The cast seems like great fun. Some of the actor I have performed with in the past, others are completely new to me. I've been waiting to do the this show since the concept album was first played on my CD player in the early 90's.

Of course I wanted to be the lead, but many years have past and I am on the verge of not getting the younger leading lady roles anymore. That is the only thing that sucks about being 34 years old. You're too old to be the pretty young romantic lead but you are too young to be a lot of the older character roles in shows. So to the chorus I go. And happily I might add! I would rather be in the show than wishing that I was. Plus where else can I say that I played a "Cupid" and a "French Tart". No where but the theatre, baby ;-)
