Grassroots Conservative Leader Touts National Experience In Race
ATLANTA, GA - On Wednesday, April 25th at 1:00 p.m., Bill Greene, Republican candidate for U.S. Congress, will be at the Georgia Secretary of State's office to officially qualify to enter the June 19th special election in Georgia's Tenth Congressional District.
Greene, 42, a resident of Braselton and the president of the national conservative activist organization RightMarch.com, is considered by many to be the leading conservative contender against Jim Whitehead, the 64-year-old "party-anointed" state Senator from Augusta in the extreme southeast corner of the 21-county district.
"It's time for a new generation of leadership in Washington, D.C.," said Bill Greene, who received over a dozen local and national conservative and GOP leaders' endorsements this week. "Because of my experience on the national issues most important to the people of the Tenth District, and because of my long-standing working relationships with key Members of the U.S. House of Representatives, I'll be able to 'hit the ground running' when I'm elected, and get right to work at securing our borders against illegal immigration, passing the Fair Tax, and supporting our troops against the political attacks by the Pelosi Democrats. Being a state elected official just doesn't measure up to that kind of experience."
Greene and his family plan to arrive at the Secretary of State's office in Atlanta to file his papers at 1:00 p.m. sharp. Media interviews are welcome at that time.
