This is Play from the Grammy Award Winning production duo Play*N*Skillz!!! I'm excited to tell you that we will be bringing you the "Adventures of Play*N*Skillz" every week right here on Global Grind.com, where we will be giving you a sneak peak into this crazy and exciting life of ours. Just to give you a lil background on us, my brother Skillz and I have been doing the music thing for about 7 years. We started off as DJ's and then became producers and eventually we evolved into artists. We do it all! Our first sign of success came in 2006 when we produced and co-wrote the hit "Ridin' Dirty" for Chamillionaire, which earned us our first GRAMMY and catapulted us into A-list producers. We've been blessed to work with some phenomenal artists including Lil' Wayne, Bun B, T-Pain, Slim Thug and Pitbull to name a few and we've rocked stages all over the country. We also produced the theme song for the KENDRA show on E! and got our good friend Too $hort on the track. In this episode, my brother Skillz and I bring the heat to the Hit Factory studio in Miami where we're working on a song with our new artist Inertia. The big homie, Slim from 112 came thru to lay his vocals down for the track called "Body", its a banger! Also, T-Pain just happened to be working in the studio next door to us and we go in and talk with him a little bit, as you guys know T-Pain helped us earn our second GRAMMY by blessing the Lil' Wayne track "Got Money" that we produced. We check out his cars parked outside in the parking lot and if you know T-Pain, you know he does everything BIG! Check out the video to see what I'm talking about.
