One by one I'm getting rid of your things I'm making a fire and using your memory as kindling. So you better come and grab what you can as much as you can if you can stand the flames. 'Cause soon the fire will turn to blue and I'll think of you but mostly I think about the burning. And when that pile has turned to ash I will laugh, yes, I will la-ha-ha-ha-haugh. Yeah.
Chorus: 'Cause I'm moving on and walking away. I'm waking up and leaving this bed that I have made. I've lied there long enough to say: I'm moving on and walking away.
No, I don't owe you anything, I've done my penance I've skinned my knees, I've set my ghosts free. Baby I know that a broken heart is only equal to the sum of its parts, and I'm not in that equation. No I won't be held accountable to that math so insurmountable this push and pull to try and make things right. But if it's wrong just let it be wrong 'cause it won't take long for the fire to raze everything, so sit back and enjoy the glow.
One by one I'm getting rid of your things and I'm making a fire I'm making a fire, ha ha ha. Ha, ha, ha.
One by one I'm getting rid of your things and I'm making a fire I'm making a fire, ha ha ha. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
the end.
Take that.
