Current mood:hahaha.
Who says that when a celebrity (or anyone, I'm guessing) dies, we should focus on their career and what they did for the world with whatever it was they would do, as opposed to their life and the faults they made, no matter how monstrous they might be.. so long as their career was their life, of course. Their example being of Micheal Jackson. Yes, while he was a rumored pedophile and a certified bad father, we should overlook those faults due to what MJ did for the Pop genre of music and completely negate them from our minds, despite all the accusations and obvious truths.
Now, I agree that people deserve second chances and forgiveness.. but can you really cover up the bad things they did with such a sorry excuse?

Now, I told another friend of mine about this theory, and he found the mentality of it to be ridiculous and brought up a comparison so fucking good, that I was left in shock and awe.
...Chris Benoit.

Yes, despite the fact that this sick bastard took a leave of absence from touring with WWE to go home and strangle his wife and suffocate his child, we should completely negate that after he died. After all, wrestling was his life, and he set the mark for the quality of one's wrestling, so his presence was made more than aware throughout the business. So because of all of this, we should exclude his obviously large faults because wrestling was his life, and he did a lot for it. Thanks for making bullshit excuses, bud.
What makes this comparison even better is that the original friend who thought of MJ the way he did didn't apply this mentality to Chris Benoit.. in fact, he fucking hated Benoit after all of that went down, despite his love for the mans work before the incident. This comparisons been brought up to him at least two times now, yet he refuses to face it upfront.. I can't imagine why.

Anyway, the point of this bulletin is to say, if you think with that senseless mentality that all the bad things you've ever done should be completely overlooked as long as you did something good for your career, delete me now. Seriously, just press that Delete From Friends button on the bottom of this, I honestly won't care.

P.S. And no, Mysterious Friend #1, this isn't aimed at just you. It's towards anyone who thinks like you do.. but especially at you.

EDIT: Me and Mysterious Friend #1 have moved past this, but I'm still leaving this up because I think it's an interesting case of Point-Counterpoint that I'd like to see develop. Leave your thoughts.
