After five years wait, on June 13, 2007 Micke Björklöf & BlueStrip is releasing their fourth and most compact album yet, "Whole ´Nutha Thang" – a collection of 11 original songs, all written by the band.
Featuring the sweet and soulful lead single "It´s been so long", the album was recorded in London, England by producer Neil Brockbank (Nick Lowe, Tanita Tikaram, Bryan Ferry) in fall 2006.

In addition to the excellent band members there are guest appearances by horn players Matt Holland and Martin Winning (Van Morrison) and keyboard player Geraint Watkins, known for his work with Paul McCartney, Bill Wyman, Mark Knopfler, Van Morrison, Rory Gallagher.

Special guests also include fabulous background singers Lena Lindroos, Veera Railio and Anna Harvey
