As you may already be aware, My Suicide Dreams' debut album; "The Verge of Suicide" was pulled from production by one of our vendors. According to our contact, a higher up in that company was highly offended by the content of their album and halted production. This individual allowed emotion to get in the way of business (which was within their rights). Unfortunately they made this decision after we had started advertising this album. We may not be a large label, but we were going to bring them quite a bit of business, now they will lose that revenue because of one emotional executive.
This whole situation created a great deal of stress especially for the members of My Suicide Dream. With that in mind they have decided to self produce their album. The audio quality is still up to par with a professionally produced CD, however the album artwork will be lower quality. Because of this, you will get their CD for roughly $7.
We are sorry that this happened, but you should be happy to know we have found a replacement vendor, sans the moral hang-ups. Future albums should be produced without any moral interference. "The Verge of Suicide" will be available for sale on December 19th through www.mysuicidedream.com .
