New Ways of Risking Our Lives was released a few months back, but The Zebras
like to take their time with such formalities as launch parties. And
why not, we say! What better time for sunny melodies and languidly
jangling guitars than the midst of a stinky summer. The Zebras' guys
and gals have been perfecting their craft for many a year now
(originally in Brisbane, but now in Melb) and have been picking up fans
all over the world, thanks to some good old-fashioned overseas touring.
People just seem to fall deeply arse-over-tit in love with The Zebras
because, well, they write such amazing songs! The Weekend Australian
newspaper once gave them a four-star review, and insisted “The Zebras
can lay claim to being, if not the heirs, then at least the love child
of the Go-Betweens”.



Come help The Zebras celebrate the launch of New Ways of Risking Our Lives this Saturday, January 10, at the wonderful Toff In Town in Melbourne, with support from Sly Hats.
The new 5-song EP and the first two Zebras albums are of course
available from the L&L online shop, and in good Australian record
stores, distributed by MGM.
