Greetings Rock and Rollers
Every year here at Rock On! Concerts, since our inception we've been involved in some sort of holiday benefit, as it seems like this is the time of year when the spirit turns to how fortunate we all are, and how fortunate some are not.
Last night we collected two massive boxes of canned goods and non perishable food items at Copperfield's as part of our annual holiday canned good drive, which featured AMAZING performances by The Peacheaters and Playin' Dead.
We just wanted to take a moment and thank all who participated, we are overwhelmed with your generosity and we'll be donating said canned goods to the Greater Boston Food Bank shortly.
If you did not make it last night there is ONE MORE WAY YOU CAN HELP before the holidays are over. On Friday December 28 Rock On! will present a benefit for PEARL JAM'S CHARITY THE WISHLIST FOUNDATION at the HARD ROCK CAFE BOSTON at Fanueil Hall.
The benefit will feature BACKSEAT LOVER - ..:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />New England's Premier Pearl Jam Tribute. If you haven't seen them, we can assure you they are the closest thing to PJ you'll see and they are a NON STOP Rock n' Roll Celebration of one of the coolest rock bands of our generation.
