Beginning this month, I'm teaming up with fellow author Elaine Levine [ www.ElaineLevine.com ] to host SECOND LIFE SALONS. The first will be held on Friday, April 17 at 9 p.m. Eastern time/ 7 p.m. Mountain / 6:00 p.m. Pacific - which also happens to be Second Life time!

What IS a Salon? It's an informal get together, sitting around chatting about a particular topic or with a special guest -- And speaking of Special guests, our first guest will be Robin D. Owens [ www.RobinDOwens.com ] RITA award winning author.

We'll be talking about books, about writing, about whatever strikes your fancy -- so please do come visit with us!
Who's invited?  Everyone!  Readers, authors, booksellers, agents, anyone in the publishing industry... everyone who enjoys reading romance is invited to come chat together!

What do you need to do to take part? Simply go to Second Life [ www.SecondLife.com ] download the program and create your avatar -- the character that will represent you in the Second Life world. You'll be prompted to choose a name for your character and once you do, if you'll simply email me [ MelissaMayhue@aol.com ] with your character's name, I'll send you instructions for attending the salon.

Remember, there is NO CHARGE for downloading the program or for creating your avatar!

We will be chatting in both text and in voice for any of you that have microphones to connect to your computers!
