I'm sure we're all aware that the Chinese authorities are keen to ensure that the internet isn't used for illicit purposes and that they employ an army of censors to ensure that it isn't, but should they be stopping me from "befriending" their citizens on Myspace, as seems to be the case? Or is it Myspace who are doing it? At first I assumed it was just some technical glitch but decided to experiment by adding Japanese users that were on the same page and that was no problem at all.
Mmmm,
Anybody got any ideas what exactly is going on, or am I just imagining things?
That is all.
