There is a new recording of my very old song These Old Shoes up on my page, or at least it should be.  It was recorded late February as Deertick and I were passing through Rock Island Illinois and made a stop at the Daytrotter studio.  Those guys do really incredible work and these recordings sound great I think.  If you go to daytrotter.com you can listen to the whole set, featuring Andy's song Dance of Love (my new favorite Deertick song) as well as Dirty Dishes which I also appear on and a couple other tracks.  This particular version of These Old Shoes is significant because it was the night before a particularly emotionally and physically draining day/night immediately following this recording.  This recording is very much a part of a personal reconstruction I've been undertaking and is, in a way, the first step in a too long put off road to recovery.  Thanks to Daytrotter and thanks always to Deertick.
