On Tuesday, May 26th, 2009, in Sacramento, Greenspan's was honored by State Assemblymember Hector De La Torre, as his California Assembly district's best small business of the 2009. During a luncheon, in association with The California Small Business Association, accross the street from the state Capitol building, the California State Assembly was honoring the best small businesses from each assembly district in California, and Greenspan's was chosen from this region. Govenor Arnold Schwarzeneggar addressed the Assemblypersons and honorees. Each Assemblyperson spoke of the unique qualities that made that business stand out. Greenspan's was chosen, for it's integrity, respect, customer service, and unique selection of quality products. The oldest family owned and operated clothing store west of Texas, it has been part of the history of the region: from selling Ed Roth his first T shirts to print, to the hundreds of movies and television shows wardrobed, and entertainers outfitted.
