OMT - Anamantium

This lot are another British band waving the flag against American domination. OMT (Our Malevolent Tyranny if you wondered) are a bunch of thrashers from Hastings. The vocals are very post-hardcore, thick Trivium crossed with Killswitch gives you an idea, and the guitars give both bands a run for their money; There are some great harmony leads taking pride of place amongst skull crushing riffs and frenzied soloing.
Whilst you are unlikely to catch one of these songs on MTV any time soon, this whole album is accessible, a lot of the tracks will have you tapping along, playing your air guitar and pounding the steering wheel of your car like it is a double bass drum.
This album is released hot on the heals of their successful set at Bloodstock Open Air, there all the tracks are crafted, honed slabs of metal. If they can keep this level of performance and song writing together, they they are sure to dominate for years to come.
