Current mood: thoughtful
Had a birthday last week. When I first thought about becoming a published author, I was a mere child of 30. Now, my 40's are flying faster than spitwads in a sixth grade classroom.
Back then, I thought it would be a cinch to be published. Shows what happens when you 'think', huh? More than a decade later, I'm still waiting for that elusive call.
On the positive side, I've grown and matured as a writer. I look at some of the manuscripts I've completed years ago, and I'm truly thankful they weren't published.
So, what will the next decade bring? Publication? Fame and fortune? I like to think so....
