This song has been revamped as of 08/20/09. There is a steady Piano/Organ doing a solid run all the way through. We recorded the Bass (Flat-Wound Strings of course) to be not that busy, just enough to carry the main beat, which is a steady conservative rock beat - played on a 66 Ludwig. The guitars that we both play are feedback-driven in places and includes a single, lightly effected electric guitar mainly picking. For the Vox, Jason sings in various intensity double tracked, no effects (except for the newly added simple delay) over 3 octaves - low, mid, and high, with Raina catching the background ahhs and chorus parts. It is an example of a verse/chorus song - Intro-Verse1-Chorus1-Verse2-Chorus2- Solo-Verse3-Bridge(HardPart)-Final Chorus (doubletime -Outro).We like how raw and intense this song is. It is about the needle and the struggles that we have observed in our past days, of friends (and enemies) "Fixing up there Mixtures". We think it pretty much speaks for itself, even having double meanings, the song is pretty clear cut and about addiction.
