SUNDAY IN HILBRE – two postcards
Audiovisual Installation by Mariella Greil
"The installation is developed from material that is retracing „sunday with me" – a project by Simon Bowes, who invited to invite him for a sunday. As part of his project I was asked to document or create a response in text, video or sound. This personal documentary consists of fragments of memories and meanders between proximity and difference, which is also displayed in the time shift happening between the videoversions. This collection of negotiations of borders and openess is framed by the plan of walking to hilbre island, following the water and being ahead of the flood." (Mariella Greil)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WERNER MOEBIUS (A) - FRAGMENTS OF SONIC BIOGRAPHIES
"One part of my current artistic interest is the exploration of sound as a communicative medium and how personal acoustic experiences can be shared and translated in the context of contemporary art practices and intermedia collaborations. „Sonic biography" is a term that I use to refer to sound experiences and memories relevant within one's autobiography. Following an invitation from the SoundNetwork to participate in „co:LAB – collaborative lab project " during the Liverpool Biennial 2006, the participants of the lab and me compiled a video for this installation which is documenting the artistic outcome according to the collaborative process." (Werner Moebius)
