This Saturday, October 10, All-Star Championship Wrestling continues the 2009 Kickoff Karnage Tour, with show #202 and a great lineup.
Commissioner Sentowski's Chosen Ones have been put on the defensive with Sam Hayne and The Hellriders capturing the ACW Tag Team Championship from them, and then invoking the "Hellriders Rule" to let any member of the group defend the belts. Last Saturday at The Watering Hole, as you recall, The Chosen Ones teamed up with Shane Hills to battle all three Hellriders, Sam Hayne, Jett Bennett, and Steve Sadist. While the Hellriders retained the belts, they were none too pleased at the interference in the match by the female member of The Chosen Ones, Stacey Shadows. To offset her interference, The Hellriders proposed to add another name into the mix...Sam Hayne's manager Mystique, making her long-awaited return to All-Star Championship Wrestling! Mystique is certainly no rookie and can handle anything Stacey can dish out, so this four-on-four elimination-style matchup is going to be war. With the ACW Tag Team Championship on the line in the match, look for even more aggression from The Hellriders. Commissoner Sentowski's "underwear models", The Chosen Ones are in for far more than a wrestling match when they clash with The Hellriders AND Mystique. They are in for a beating. Stacey Shadows took on a male wrestler in her debut, but most of the men in the ACW locker room refuse to lock horns with Mystique. Anyone that can ride with Sam Hayne is plenty tough.
ACW Heavyweight Championship is also on the line. Champion "Diamond" Dave Demone has been enjoying adding some gold to his "jewelry collection", but "Cadillac" Nick Colucci is not yet done with Demone, and is putting it all on the line with a special career-threatening stipulation to be added to the match. Colucci, one of the most popular wrestlers with the fans, wants to see the title around his waist once more, and judging from the ACW message boards, the fans want it that way, too. Demone, a Cabinet member, along with his "weasely" manager, Jamie P. Ness are sure to try to put Colucci out of not only the ACW title picture, but also the ACW picture as a whole. Colucci would be wise to have someone watch his back in this match.
In Triple Threat Action with the ACW X-Dvision Championship on the line, Jerry Stylz is challenged by two former Champions, Thomas "T-Dub-3" Walton III and Chuck Dollar (the former Douglas Do-Right Peterson. Chuck is already plenty cheesed off about losing his belt, and then getting disqualified last week at The Watering Hole. Chuck seems to want everything his way, and no one else is right but him. Stylz already won his title defence against Chuck (naturally, it wasn't Chuck's fault, it was incompetent officiating. It had nothing to do with Chuck assaulting a referee...nosireebob...), but with the extra man in the ring and the fact that unlike a traditional match, Stylz doesn't have to be pinned to lose the title, it's going to make retaining his belt a much more difficult task. Especially since Walton isn't exactly some preliminary talent, he's a former X-Division Champion himself.
NWA Wisconsin Heavyweight Champion Justin Dredd has a serious problem going into his title defence this Saturday...he doesn't know who his opponent will be yet. Dredd is making a fine showing of himself as Champion thus far, and at his young age, has tons of potential ahead of him, and is just approaching the prime years of his career right now. How will that help him without being able to prepare for his opponent? Well, it depends on how much advance notice his opponent gets. Remember, the Champion does not have to defeat you, but you have to defeat him for the belt.
There's plenty more action to be found at The Bar Saturday, including one half of the NWA Wisconsin Tag Team Champions (not to mention the ICW Champion), Chase McCoy, Dinn T. Moore, Brandon Haze, and more!
That's Saturday, October 10 (YES, TOMORROW!) at The Bar on Lime Kiln Road in Green Bay, Wisconson, as All-Star Championship Wrestling continues the Kickoff Karnage Tour 2009 with ACW show #202.
