From a personal point, I don't think the planned gigs caused Michael to leave us so abruptly, I think it was the greedy friggin lawyers and money grabbing nutters who tried to bleed him dry.
I shall remember him as a brilliant performer who left a lasting impression on so many different people and areas of live music, dance, video and just about anything he put his mind to. In so many of his songs he showed a care for everybody, regardless of their backgrounds and the well-being of the planet as a whole.
I watched the sick way people invented a whole load of crap about his private life when to me, it was so obviously utter lies and eventually when the truth came out, no-one apologised did they?



Rest in peace bro,.. you sure earned the right!

He was one of the artists I grew up with hearing on the radio as a kid, and seeing videos as a youth. No one can take from him the fact that he was a superb method dancer, spontaneous singer and humanitarian. So he lived life a little off what we would call normal.....but please, any of you define normal, normal for me, you or Michael, heck up till he was bled dry he could afford to live like that, and good on him, we don't have to live life "just being a colour" (Black or White song lyric).

I agree with you when it comes to the first part of your post.   

He WAS a great performer, and I loved watching him with the Jackson Five.   

Not so sure ALL the stuff about his private life was total lies, though.   

Most likely , no one will ever know for sure.
