Ok, so if you haven't noticed, I've not posted any gigs for a while here and as someone was asking why, I figure I'd better explain!
I have a wee bit of a problem with my knees caused by an accident a few years back. Basically there's rather a lot of the slippery stuff (cartilage) missing in the joints which makes things rather painful most of the time.
A couple of months back, I managed to twist my left knee, (the worst one) and now it has a nasty tendency to move in directions it really shouldn't!   Not a major problem as I have been to the doc and they are going to give me some new metal bits to hold my shit together.
Unfortunately, till those bits turn up, I'm wobbling a bit like a drunk penguin and playing gigs, or rather the 'how' I go about them, is up for a major overhaul. The big PA ain't going to be possible so while I can't get round actually gigging, I've been shrinking the size of the PA to bits that can be man-handled (whimp-handled) more easily.

Of course getting into venues which have metal detectors to prevent loonies with silly hardware messing up the place, is probably going to get very 'interesting'. I have this recurring dream, not really a nightmare, of being stood in some foyer with my pants off in front of my fans to prove to some jobs-worth security guy that I'm really not carrying a gun down each trouser leg!
Of course some of you might really want to be there if/when that happens eh?
Worry ye not,.. I will be out and about again ASAP. (Bring yer cameras just in case!)

Sorry to hear about your knee . . . bad knees seem to run in my family . . . three of four of my kids have already had surgery on one or more knees!  Mine are not that far gone, but I've been extra careful   Be sure to take care, and keep up posted!
