Hi Friends,
Here is the first preview track from my new solo album - DARK BOAT. I hope you love as much as I do.

This song was written by my lifelong friend from the 1000 Islands John Cook. He is an amazing songwriter, acoustic musician, guitar collector/trader and he graciously allowed me to record one of his best songs. The drum parts (3 kits in all) are played by Michael Cartellone, the drummer with Lynyrd Skynyrd who played on 9 tracks for the album. The soprano sax you hear is my good friend the amazingly talented Allan Becker, who is the reed player in my band, TreeTop. The rest of the guitars, leads, vocals, mandolins, and bass is all me. It's quite an epic at over 8 minutes and I plan an even longer mix sometime in the future.

I use the old school retro "album" because it will be available in 3-4 weeks in a 12 inch vinyl format, as well as a CD and digital download.
