Global Poverty Project Eight Millennium Development Goals were developed in 2000 with the objective of improving the lives of the world’s poorest people by 2015. Since then, we have made great gains, however despite that, 1.4 billion people, roughly one-fifth of the world’s inhabitants, continue to live in extreme poverty.
The Global Poverty Project is a new organisation designed to create a unified movement of people around the world, by presenting a feature film and presentation (similar to that of “An Inconvenient Truth”) that will help create awareness and in turn help towards the ultimate goal of the eradication of extreme poverty.
Lior has recently become an ambassador in The Global Poverty Project, and will be performing at the International Launch, which will be held in Melbourne this Saturday, July 4th at the University of Melbourne, Parkville.
To learn more about The Global Poverty Project launch in your nearest city, please visit www.globalpovertyproject.com. All of these launches are free events, but you will need to rsvp to the corresponding email to grab a seat.
And that’s it from us! If you have any questions about any of the shows coming up, please feel free to send me an email!
