Helen Leicht at WXPN was requesting Bruce Springsteen covers, so we did this one. He wrote it for that movie, "Philadelphia" (which is awesome if you've never seen it). I decided to country-fy it, because you can countryfy just about any song. And it makes em sound sadder yet more manly at the same time.

Anyways, i thought I'd throw it up here so y'all could hear it, in case you don't listen to XPN. Which if you don't you should. They play some pretty sweet music (like us!), and Helen Leicht has been especially good to us. You can check out XPN on the following stations:

WXPN 88.5 FM in the greater Philadelphia/South Jersey area
104.9 FM in the Lehigh Valley
90.5 FM in Worton/Baltimore
88.7 FM in Lancaster, York
99.7 FM in Harrisburg
Worldwide online at wxpn.org.

And Helen is on Mondays through Fridays, 10am-2pm, plus 9-10pm on Tuesdays for the local hour, where she plays emerging artists from the area (which is how we first started getting played with them).

Also, we hit the studio in 2 1/2 weeks. Bam. If you still want to donate to the next record, it would be super sweet. Thanks to everyone that has so far!!! It wouldn't be possible without you guys.

Love.
Luke.

nice cover!  You should check out Casiotone for the Painfully Alone's cover of the same song.
