Green Screens and HD cameras ...

Now when you slowly start to climb the ladder of success,
promotion becomes more amd more important.
In today's musical climate, it is not enough to have a good song.
To maximize ones chances you must use all the tools and media to convey the original concept.
This means that I had to take a step into the world of film,
a place I have romanticised over for a long time.
I have always been very interested in film and it feels fascinating to start translating my lyrics to the medium of moving images.
The main challenge when doing this transition is that,
first of all, the movie should lift the song to new heights,
and hold the same emotional catalyst that the viewer got from the song itself.
It is therefore important that a fast track is matched with the same rapid clip that the song has.
This can be seen in my Ugly Girls video
(watch it again and check out what I mean)
Secondly, the video should represent the basic concept of the song,
the viewer should recognize the theme from the lyrics and see a clear transition between the two medias.
Which, in my video is represented by the brown paper bags.
