To give you a bit of That's Fucking Dynamite gossip, Andrew and I have had…well, 'differences' in the past. He's not all that into Cameron Diaz, I'm kind of sweet on her. He's not such a huge fan of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, I can recite the inscription on the One Ring on demand. He claimed OK Computer was just a bunch of whining and noise, and I told him that all he listens to is old Air Supply records and that he has no idea what good music is anyway…actually, on second thought, that last part may have been a discussion I had with my dad when I was 16.
Anyway, if there's one thing we always have agreed on, it's that The Brian Jonestown Massacre are one of the best bands making music out there right now. Led by the documentedly insane Anton Newcombe, the group have toiled in relative obscurity, routinely delivering epic albums of 60's inspired psychedelia…and now they all can be yours.
