Greetings Tribe, First
we want to thank everyone who came out and supported the Michael Brewer
Foundation Fundraiser. The event was large success and the family is
very appreciative of everyone. It was inspiring to see the community
come together for such an urgent cause. Second, we got some sweet happenings in the works and wanted to share a few... We
are touring all the top recording studio facilities in our area and
narrowing down our choices as to where we will be recording our first
Full Length. We are also in talks with few producers and putting our
"dream team" together...there is electricity in the air for us about
this upcoming record...we are very excited! We have ALOT of new,
never-before-played material that we have been working on and very
proud of...its almost too much to hold inside...were anxious to play
out the new songs for you! But
before we can dedicate our complete attention to the creation of our
album, We have been busy in preparations for a 2nd "Ernie Smith &
The Resolvers" show scheduled for November 17th in Philadelphia. The
show will take place at Harcum College in celebration of "25th
Anniversary of The English Language Academy" - a program that helps
people from all over the world get a leg up so-to-speak. Unfortunately,
this is an invite only event so tickets are not available for sale. Good
thing is that the day we come back (11/18) we will be headlining the
Grand Opening of "Reggae Wednesday @ Pulp Live" - a wicked venue where
we played with Sashamon last month. Opening act is a new wpb local
reggae band called Roots Shakedown...theyre sort of a breed between The Police, 311, and Sublime...Worth checking out! The whole event is brought to you by...KULCHA SHOK of course! But even prior to going out of town, we have some cool stuff going down this month...2nd Street Surf Shop Buy 1 get 1 free Surfboard sale
is Today!!! (Sale lasts all weekend), we have an Animal Shelter Gala on
Saturday, Kahuna Sundays + Fridays, and even an acoustic set with Ron
& Ojay at FAU. Also, we will be playing one of the longest standing
music venues in South Florida at the end of the month - Tobacco
Road...So make sure you click on the show schedule below to find out
times and locations! Last but not least, Check out a live take we just put up on our ReverbNation
site...the songs are Time For A Change & Itchy Mind and they flow
into each other pretty smoothly. The Performance was from our opening
set of the first "Ernie Smith + The Resolvers" show in Pittsburgh
9.12.09...We'd love to hear what you think but you must become a FAN in
order to listen!!! and if you havent done so yet, join our community
and share your thoughts, ideas, pictures, and more with other
like-minded-music-lovers on our FACEBOOK page. One Love, The Resolvers
