Hi folks,
 
Please join NSY this Saturday as we prepare our plot on Sanchez farms. We are excited to be planting this year and celebrating the history and traditional ties that planting offers our community and exercising our sovereignty over our food and bodies. Bring your chile, beans, and melon seeds and what ever else you'd like that will grow in our beautiful dessert climate! This plot has been graciouly donated to us by the Sanchez Farms! Also bring shovels and other field tools that will be useful, there is water access from the ditch nearby. We will be meeting Saturday,May 10th at 3pm at Sanchez farm, or if you need a ride, E-mail us or give us a call and we would be happy to arrange a car poolwith you. Come participate in the way of life that kept our ancestors alive for centuries and with the high price of grains it wouldn't hurt to have a storage of beans in your pantry.
