Current mood: accomplished
All bands do this at some point. It's sad, but inevitably necessary.
+nurse has decided to "pack it in", to coin a phrase.
Now, we're not doing this right away. In fact, we have a gig this Saturday, Feb 24th. We're playing at C'est What, as part of the Toronto Podcamp Conference, with Uncle Seth and Sean McGaughey. You are, of course, welcome to join us, and we hope you will.
And we've booked our final show, a "Farewell Concert" if you will (y'know, like Cher). It's on Saturday May 11, at The Gladstone Ballroom, also in Toronto. We are proud and pleased to one last time play with our dear friends The Jones and The Dunes.
We'd like to thank each and every one of you for coming with us as we wrote and performed and recorded and grew. Ultimately, we write music for ourselves. But we record, and rehearse, and play live for YOU. And we became a better band because of that. And closer friends. So, thank you, you are bio-luminescent!
Our fervent wish is that you can one day have an experience like we had, with friends as close as we've become.
Your friends, sincerely +nurse
