Described by Bob Harris as "one of our finest singer/songwriters" and already booked in for a session on his show, Lisa returns to the UK from her current base in New York for a headlining tour in March. A compelling live performer, Lisa will be performing songs from her three acclaimed albums including her latest, 2008's CLOUDS WITH SILVER, as well as new material.
Marybeth D'Amico

An American singer based in Germany, Marybeth's 2008 self-released debut album HEAVEN, HELL, SIN AND REDEMPTION came to the attention of Continental Records, under which Proper is re-releasing the album in November 2009. Following a successful 12 date UK tour in June 2009, Marybeth will be returning in May 2010 performing songs from that album as well as a load of new songs which she is preparing to record in 2010. Already booked in for a live session with Bob Harris.
Bob Cheevers

Bob's new album - TALL TEXAS TALES - has just been given five stars in Maverick magazine and is a collection of Texan inspired songs written after he had moved to the lone star state a couple of years ago. Following a 30+ date UK tour this autumn, plans and bookings are already underway for another tour in October and November 2010. Summer 2010 festival dates also considered.
After The Fire
Originally well known back in the 70s and 80s and particularly for their monster hit "Der Kommissar", After The Fire are now enjoying their busiest period since 1982, when they toured the world with Queen, ELO and Van Halen. A new CD of BBC Radio Sessions from 1979-1981 has just been released which truly captures the spirit of the band at their best as a hard working live band.
Doghouse Roses
Guitarist Paul Tasker and the ethereallly voiced singer Iona Macdonald formed Doghouse Roses in 2006, after one too many nights drinking red wine and listening to Pentangle, Fairport Convention and Gillian Welch. Equally inspired by Scottish and American folk music, they have toured extensively across Europe, played at Celtic Connections and played and collaborated with the Willard Grant Conspiracy. A new album is scheduled to be recorded and released in 2010.
Diana Johnstone
"Soulful, poignant and delicate" are just some of the words bring used to describe the music of singer/songwriter Diana Johnstone whose second album was released in 2009. Her unique style of playing combined with her thoughtful lyrics and mesmerizing voice has already attracted a keen following. This along with her well-received live performances has ensured that Diana Johnstone is definitely one to watch among the new breed of innovative female singer/songwriters. In addition to her own headlining gigs, Diana is undertaking a number of support slots with the likes of Jim Diamond and Cathryn Craig & Brian Willoughby.
Michael Weston King
Michael Weston King is the very embodiment of the modern day troubador. His latest album, CRAWLING THROUGH THE USA, recorded live in America in 2008, perfectly showcases the man alone, with just his guitar and songs for company. Acclaimed as one of the finest songwriters of his generation, Michael continues the line, and life style, established by Woody Guthrie, Tim Hardin, Phil Ochs and Townes Van Zandt. As well as selected highlights from Michael's career to date, the show will also feature songs from his brand new "Protest Song" album due for release in Spring 2010. Available in solo or accompanied formats.
String Driven
Thirty seven years since the release of the String Driven Thing album, Chris Adams is back with a superb new album SONGS FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY which has recently been given five stars in Maverick magazine. Fronting a new band with a shortened name. String Driven are a force to be reckoned with in the genres of Americana and folk / roots.
