Hey Friends,

It's been a while since we last spoke, so here's an update on what is going on with Special D.

After a very busy summer and fall, we are currently taking the rest of 2008 off and preparing for the new year. We are writing and working on several new songs and will be putting out a new album sometime in the spring of 2009 (more to come soon). We are VERY excited about the new material and can't wait to play the songs live.

Speaking of playing shows.....there are already multiple festival dates confirmed on the calendar, including several main stage performances and a pre-headliner time slot at AtlantaFest. The next year is already shaping up to be the busiest year in Special D's history and more dates will be coming soon.

In other news, we just purchased a new hauling trailer that we're totally stoked about (check out our pictures). It's been a long time coming but we've finally got a trailer that will hold all of our crap.....I mean stuff. Now.......if we could only get a new 15 passenger van. And by new, I mean new to us.
