GoLeft Progressive Movie Night Presents: "Bulworth"
In GoLeft's latest screening we take a look at Warren Beatty's Bulworth. In the film, Senator Jay Bulworth is facing financial ruin and decides to put a contract on his life. This suicidal plan allows an uninhibited Bulworth to begin to talk honestly about politics, class and race. In our GoLeft discussions we'll be looking at the history of race in politics, the role of money in access to political participation and how organizers and people who care about progressive issues can make change in a two-party system.
